Cheney Friends are currently fundraising for Phases 3 and 4.
As you can see in the Phase 3 designs below, this will provide more planters, trees and seating outside the Sixth Form area, creating a warm, comfortable and usable space for our Year 12 and 13 students.
Phase 4 is an ambitious project to incorporate a rain garden, using SuDS (sustainable drainage systems) in the Wainwright playground. This clever design will add much needed shade, beauty and seating, as well as reducing surface area flooding in this area!
