Gold Duke of Edinburgh Celebration at Buckingham Palace

Congratulations to Alex E in year 13, who went to the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Celebration at Buckingham Palace last Friday, 9th May.   

It's always great to hear from former students and Grace and Lucy, two former Sixth Formers (now in Gap Years after finishing Sixth Form last year), were also at the event.

It was a fantastic event to celebrate their achievements, including tea and cake, a stroll around the Palace gardens as the band played, inspirational speeches from celebrities such as Alex Scott MBE, Victoria Derbyshire (BBC Newsnight) and Larry Lamb (Gavin & Stacey) not to mention a personal ‘well done’ from the Duke of Edinburgh himself.
