Year 10 Rowers compete in National Schools Regatta, Nottingham

The year 10 rowers did fantastically well in a very strong field of 37 boats at the National Schools Regatta in Nottingham.  In the initial 1900m time trial to decide seeding for the finals they came 9^th qualifying for the B final. 

In a very tightly fought final over the full 2000m course a tight sprint finish saw them miss out on third place by less than a second good for 10^th overall. A great achievement for a small local rowing club up against large private school and club programs.  The crew of Oscar S, Ollie R, Alex A, Seb S & John RP are back in training and will be in action again at the British Junior Champs in July.
