On Friday the 4th July, the Year 12 Historians went on a trip to London, visiting Apsley House, the home of the Duke of Wellington, and the V&A Museum. We enjoyed looking at the paintings and statues of the figures of the French Revolution that decorated Wellington's house, and especially enjoyed the Waterloo Painting's depiction of the famous battle.

After a lunch break spent exploring London (which Mr Daniels returned 1 minute late with his coffee flavoured ice cream!), we had some time to enjoy the V&A Museum, from the cast courts to the Raphael Cartoons, and some groups enjoyed the iron display.
