Humanities Trips for years 7, 8 and 10
BackIt is a busy end of term in the Humanities Faculty with trips taking place for years 7, 8 and 10.
Last week we had the whole of year 7, two form groups a day, going on our annual walking tour around Oxford. We were hosted by both St Clements Church and the Ashmolean Museum. In addition students stopped at University Parks, where groups played games and enjoyed their lunch. The students were a credit to the school and did well in some very warm conditions.
On Monday and Thursday we ran trips for our Geography year 10 classes to the Hampshire Coast. An essential part of their course, students visited Barton on Sea and Milford on Sea. Students collected various data and observed the Geography. We even got to enjoy the local ice cream flavours!
Finally this week 40 year eight students are currently travelling around Belgium on our inaugural Battlefield trip. We look forward to sharing some photos on our return.
