Cheney School A Level and BTEC Results 2025
BackOnce again, we are delighted with the results our wonderful students have achieved this year. We want to congratulate them for all their hard work over the years, and say thank you to both their families and the Cheney staff who have supported them at school.
The most important thing is the destinations that our students go on to, and again we have many going on to excellent universities, mostly to their first choice institution. We also have a number of students going on to employment or apprenticeships in the areas of their choice.
60% of our A Level grades are B or over, with almost a third of grades at A or A*. More important than the absolute grades is the value-added score, which at +0.39 is over a third of a grade better than the national average in each exam. The official data won’t be out for some time, but this kind of value-added score is likely to put Cheney in the top 5% of schools in the country for progress.
