Authors Marlene Watson-Tara and Bill Tara visit Cheney as part of Oxford Literary Festival

Year 10 Food Technology students were privileged yesterday to have a visit from authors and founders of the Human Ecology Project, Marlene Watson-Tara and Bill Tara.

The couple gave a talk on the project and then gave an interactive demonstration of how to make Chocolate Adzuki Bites from their book, Go Vegan.

Year 10 students joined in, asked questions and were even given their own copy of the book, before of course sampling the delicious treats. One student even offered to wash-up!
