On Friday 13th March, 50 students across all year groups bought drama teacher, Mr Beresford's debut play, The Masquerade Paradox to life.

'Five students: an Athlete, an Outcast, a Nerd, a Posho, and the Class Clown, find themselves stuck in Saturday detention. They have all mastered the art of wearing masks, each hiding a secret struggle behind their predictable persona.

But detention is cancelled when they are zapped through time and space into a chaotic, mythological game board by the mischievous Norse God of Trickery and Masks.'

Supported by a student tech team, Mr Miller, Mr Cartwright and Directors Mr Davies and Ms Johnson, the play was a great success and members of the audience commented on how the students evidently grew in confidence throughout the performance.

Thank you for coming to support our students and congratulations to everyone involved!
