Year 10 Sport Studies students Go Ape!

What a fantastic day out with the Year 10 Sport Studies class at Go Ape in Black Park! The students swapped the classroom for the canopy, demonstrating brilliant teamwork and high-flying energy throughout the day.
The day kicked off with a series of ground-based team challenges. Students had to communicate effectively, problem-solve under pressure, and work collaboratively to succeed. Moving from the ground to the treetops, the class tackled the gruelling high ropes course. From high up crossings to exhilarating zip wires, students pushed past their comfort zones and conquered fears they didn't know they had.
A massive shoutout goes to Romaro, who was awarded the Go Ape Medal for the day. Romaro stood out for his exceptional, consistent effort and infectious motivation. Whether he was cheering on a classmate or tackling a tough obstacle himself, his positive attitude kept the entire group's spirits high.
This successful trip wouldn't have been possible without Ms Oddie and Mr Fieldwick for coming along and ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Your encouragement on the ropes was greatly appreciated!
Well done, can’t wait to come back again next year!
