Cheney Celebrates European Day of Languages!

Last week Cheney students celebrated European Day of Languages, focussing on this year’s theme of “Languages Unite”. Students in Year 7 got to know their MFL (Modern Foreign Language) teachers by completing a challenge to use some of the language they have learned since September with their teacher at break or lunch. The school also participated in a Languages Unite poster competition. The students made posters of a welcome or greeting in any language. Here is a small selection of the entries on display in the library. Well done to Zach, Katya and Daniel for their 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winning entries!
