South Korean students visit Cheney School
BackAfter school on Tuesday 3rd June, students from Cheney School’s Korean Language Club and the Year 9 Museum Project group, along with a few additional volunteers, joined 50 visiting senior secondary students from Jeongeup, South Korea.
Together, they created models of notable heritage sites from Jeonbuk province, including UNESCO World Heritage Sites and temples located in Naejangsan National Park. The students also had the opportunity to try on traditional Korean dress and play popular Korean games such as Jegi-chagi and Gonggi-nori. It was an enjoyable and enriching experience for both Cheney and Jeongeup students. The Jeongeup Office of Education expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome they received from Cheney School.
