The annual sports awards evening on Friday 6th June was a celebration of all things sporty here at Cheney.

 

The awards evening is a celebration of the efforts of our students in both extra-curricular sport and club level sport outside of school, anything from Basketball to Rock climbing! 

 

Major awards included Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year for years 7-11. 

Alisdair Harley Award (basketballer of the year) (Zanna H)

Pam Rump Award (Sporting excellence) (Ruby R)

Alice and Ailsa Award (supporting the PE department) (Keitta R)

 

Alongside these awards were key stage 3 awards, officials of the year, captain of the year, most improved and most valuable for all sports.
