Knife Crime Assemblies
BackLast week, our students in Years 7 to 10 took part in a series of powerful and thought-provoking assemblies on knife crime, delivered by the brilliant Mike and Lee from Storry. These sessions were funded by Thames Valley Police as part of their programme to educate young people, raise awareness and encourage young people to make positive choices. The assemblies were hard-hitting, engaging, and incredibly relevant, with students showing remarkable maturity and thoughtfulness throughout. One highlight was the impactful rap performance, which had students buzzing with energy and discussion for the rest of the day.
We were especially proud to receive such glowing feedback from Mike and Lee, who said:
"WOW! We could not have hoped for a better way to finish off 9 months of travelling and delivering these assemblies than the one we got yesterday. Your students were awesome! They were so engaged and attentive, and Mike and I agreed it was as close to perfect, all day, as it could have been. Thank you so much for allowing us to attend your school and speak to your students."
