Cheney and Magdalen Cadets enjoyed a week packed full of challenging activities at the

Longmoor Training Camp in the Hampshire South Downs last week.

 

The fun water sports were very welcome in the heatwave! There were also team activities,

military manoeuvres and adventure training ranging from archery and mountain bikes to

rock climbing and clay target shooting. It was a great way to build upon the skills learnt

throughout the year.

 

 

Congratulations to Cdt Lucas B who was awarded the 3rd Best L98A2 shot overall of the

week and Cadet team consisting of Cdt L/Cpl Ferreira, Cdt Schoeneman, Cdt Kiumbuku and

Cdt Thompson-Donnelly who won the “Cypher Challenge” on the Competition Day.

 

The Cadets meet weekly after school on Tuesdays. New students can join by completing the online form. Students can attend the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) sessions for free in September before any payment is required.
