Cheney People - Mr Muir, Head of KS5 Maths and Year 7 Tutor

Cheney People is where we introduce members of our Cheney community, find out more about them and celebrate their achievements. Our brilliant Maths teacher and year 7 tutor, Mr Muir, was not always destined to be a Maths teacher:

"My happiest times at secondary school were, perhaps surprisingly (!), in English: we had some amazing teachers (many of whom were published poets and authors) and I made lifelong friends in those lessons.  We would wander around the playing fields of a Scottish comprehensive reading Shakespeare and Burns - sometimes even accompanied by that rarest of treats: the Scottish sun!"

Mr Muir returned to Cheney this academic year after a year in France so we caught up with him to find out more...
