Cheney Christmas Lunch and Bingo in the library
BackWe've been getting ready for the festive season here at school with our Christmas lunches cooked up in our canteen - for 450 on Tuesday and 350 yesterday! Students were greeted by Sixth Formers dressed up as a snowman, Christmas pudding and a turkey, passing them their Christmas cracker and cutlery before being dished up a vegan or chicken roast dinner with all the trimmings. And all of this with Christmas tunes such as 'Last Christmas' playing in the background, and staff elves busy keeping everything going! It was a delight for the senses and a lovely celebratory occasion for the end of term.
The Sixth Form also had their own Christmas dinner in L1 fit with a log burning fire ; )
Today in the library at break-time, Mr Fieldwick played bingo caller and Mrs Fenton checked the numbers for the winner of the full house, Emma in year 8 - who went away with a chocolate selection box!
Have a very merry Christmas All and a well-earned break!
