Year 12 Debaters compete in Oxford Union Regional Competition at Oxford High School

Year 12 Debaters took part in Oxford Union Regional Competition last night at Oxford High School.  There were 64 teams competing from several different schools. Our four teams debated on the motions: ‘should media outlets be banned from reporting on the private lives of politicians’ and ‘this house believes that attempted crimes should receive the same punishment as committed crimes”. 

All four Cheney teams debated skilfully and thoughtfully - well done to them all for taking part in a challenging set of debates!
