During the Easter break, 46 Year 10 and 11’s were lucky enough to head to Passo Tonale, Italy for a week of skiing. During the week we were lucky enough to have blue skies and good snow on the pistes. All 46 students worked hard to improve their skiing, whether they were complete beginners or in the advanced group with the instructors commenting on how impressed they were with all the groups! A highlight of the skiing was taking all groups up to the Presena Glacier at 3069m, with some students even skiing from top to bottom!

During the evening the students were treated to various apres-ski activities, including a quiz night, crepes and pizza night. The Year 11 students even found time during the evenings to squeeze in some revision! But the real highlight was the karaoke night, with all 46 students (and staff) getting stuck in and having a great time!

Make sure you head over to Cheney School PE on Instagram to see more photos and videos from the trip!

All of our students had a great time and represented Cheney superbly! Thank you to all of the students and to Mrs Hart, Mr Ransome, Miss Hutson, Miss Miles, Mr Richardson and Mr Cartwright for making the trip possible.
