First Cheney Ceilidh proves a hit!

It was a dull, cold and windy Tuesday March night...

...the perfect time for a ceilidh—a social dance to traditional celtic folk music—with our very own year 12 Ceilidh Band:

From 5-7pm we were treated to fantastic live folk tunes, to which we enthusiastically attempted to dance to around the school hall, following instructions from the caller. It was thirsty work, but there were refreshments provided by the Sixth Form students who organised, and ran the event.

Fun was had by all ages and we're looking forward to the next one! A huge thanks to the Sixth Form students who organised a fantastic event, and, once again, to our brilliant photographer in year 12, for taking these amazing photos!
