First Cheney Ceilidh proves a hit!
BackIt was a dull, cold and windy Tuesday March night...
...the perfect time for a ceilidh—a social dance to traditional celtic folk music—with our very own year 12 Ceilidh Band:

Cheney School Ceilidh Band, Year 12 students: Laurie, Theo, Oscar, Kitty, Monty, and caller Hannah
From 5-7pm we were treated to fantastic live folk tunes, to which we enthusiastically attempted to dance to around the school hall, following instructions from the caller, year 12 student Hannah. It was thirsty work, but there were refreshments provided by the Sixth Form students who organised, and ran the event.
Fun was had by all ages and we're looking forward to the next one! A huge thanks to the Sixth Form students who organised a fantastic event, and, once again, to our brilliant Sam in year 12, for taking these amazing photos!
