Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Practice Expedition

Over the weekend of Saturday 25th to Sunday 26th March, 82 Duke of Edinburgh Bronze participants completed their practice expedition around the hills of Burton Dassett, accompanied by Mr Richardson and Mrs Butler-Brown.
Students showed great teamwork and resilience while developing their skills in navigation, cooking, and camping. Going to bed at an appropriate time is a shared target for next time!
Mr Richardson commented, “It was great to see students working together effortlessly to put up their tents and enjoy a meal whilst practising fire safety. Pot noodles (or variations thereof!) were a popular choice, although one group impressed us with a three-course gourmet meal!”
We are very proud of their efforts and look forward to their assessed expedition in May.
