Museum Project Presentation Evening
BackOn Friday, sixteen Year 9 students presented their individual research projects to an audience of students, parents, staff and museum curators!
The broad and fascinating range of topics included the recreation of pop culture props in museums, the use of real and replica dinosaurs in museums, whether museums should charge visitors, how navigational instruments are presented in museums, how the Vikings are presented in museums, presentation of women in museums, how robots could be used in museums, outreach to young people, classics in films and their effect on museums, fossils, restoration, labelling in museums, and the Parthenon Marbles.
The students did a wonderful job of engaging visitors in their research - well done to them all for months of hard work leading up to a very successful evening.
